Fine Maintenance Support Program

Fine spol. s r.o. undertakes to provide support and maintenance of its software. The Service Agreement is concluded for GEO5 or FIN EC software suites, including all programs in the given suite owned by the user. Fine Maintenance agreement does not apply to TRUSS4, which has its own terms and conditions of the license lease.

Fine Maintenance provides the user with unlimited access to software updates, priority technical hotline, professional engineering support and discounts on new program purchases. Terms of agreement may differ slightly depending on the region or Local Dealer.

Price of the Support Program

The price of the Fine Maintenance program is 15% of the current price of all purchased licenses for GEO5 or 10% of the current price of all purchased licenses for FIN EC.

Validity Period

The agreement is concluded for indefinite period. The fee for Fine Maintenance services is always paid for the period of one year from the date of purchase the program and is renewed annually according to the invoice issued by the supplier (Fine or its local dealer).

Termination

The agreement will be terminated automatically, if the service fee is not paid. The agreement can be terminated by an email delivered to the supplier at least one month prior to the end of the period, for which the service fee was paid.

Software Upgrades

Fine Maintenance subscribers (GEO5 or FIN EC products) can install current Edition for free at any time. Each Edition can have arbitrary number of versions released during the year. New versions contain fixes, new features and functions. All users of the Editions receive all versions immediately for free. Part of each update is a set of Contextual Helps included in the software (in selected languages).

Availability of Software Upgrades

GEO5

New Edition is released once a year on November 1st and is marked with a year of release behind the software name (GEO5 2017). The programs can be upgraded immediately using the Personalized Setup, which can be downloaded from our website at any time. User can be informed of the release of a new Edition by the automatic notification in the software or by Fine Newsletter.

FIN EC

New Edition is released once a year on November 15th and is marked with a year of release behind the software name (FIN EC 2017). The programs can be upgraded immediately using the Personalized Setup, which can be downloaded from our website at any time. User can be informed of the release of a new Edition by the automatic notification in the software.

Technical Support

Technical hotline is provided via e-mail or telephone. Technical hotline staff help with solving problems related to installation or settings of the programs. The service is provided in Prague on workdays from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:00 (Central European Time Zone), or through Fine Dealer´s support lines, if applicable.

Engineering Assistance

Customers covered under current Fine Maintenance program are entitled to request professional engineering assistance related to tasks solved by our software. The assistance is provided via e-mail or telephone on workdays in Prague from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:00 (Central European Time Zone).

Discounts on new program and license purchases

Fine Maintenance subscribers will get a special 10% discount on new program and license purchases. The discount is applicable under the following terms and conditions.
