Analysis methods

The frame "Analysis methods" serves to define standards or methods to be used in the analysis.

One needs to select the type of analysis of pile vertical bearing capacity:

- Classical theory

- Finite element method (FEM)

In case of classical theories of analysis of vertical bearing capacity one needs to further select

- analysis method (NAVFAC DM 7.2, Tomlinson, effective stress method, CSN 7310 02)

- verification method (classical approach, according to EN 1997-1). In case of analysis according to EN 1997 -1 the frame further allows for opening the dialog window for setting partial factors and a design approach.

The frame further serves to specify the type of pile settlement analysisnonlinear (Masopust) and linear (Poulos).

The bottom part of the frame serves to specify a standard for dimensioning of concrete structures. Entering types of concrete and steel in the frame "Material" and performing verification of steel in the frame "Horizontal bearing capacity" then depends on the selected standard.
