EN 1998-5 Seismic effects
If the coefficients kh and kv are not obtained from measurements it is necessary, providing the analysis is carried out according to 1998-5 Eurocode 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance - Part 5: Foundations, retaining structures and geotechnical aspects, to input these coefficients as follows:
