New Features in GEO5 Programs
Point Cloud
• Modeling multiple construction stages to monitor project development over time. Transfer data directly to/from Stratigraphy via clipboard.
GEO5 – FIN EC Communication (Concrete, Steel, Timber Design)
• Automatically transfer input data and results from GEO5 programs to FIN EC — without the need for manual entry.
Sheeting Check, Sheeting Design, Anti-Slide Pile – Corrosion & Interlock Slip
• The programs now integrate corrosion effects on steel elements and the interaction behavior of sheet-pile interlocks.
Slope Stability (+ FEM) – Variable Undrained Shear Strength
• It is now possible to define the undrained shear strength (cu) of fine-grained soils as a function of depth.
Stratigraphy
• New modeling without a master borehole, PDF background import, and user-defined soil/rock hatching patterns.
FEM
• Calculation of internal forces on a virtual beam, new catalogs of steel and composite cross-sections, and parallelized computations across multiple CPU cores (up to 40% faster calculations).
Spread Footing & Spread Footing CPT – New Three-Step Footing Geometry
• A new geometry type allows defining foundations with up to three height steps.
Cantilever Wall – Custom Wall Shapes
• Users can now define custom shapes of retaining walls, including special geometries commonly used in Belgium and China.
