Structural Analyses FIN10 / FIN 2D
FIN 2D – Analysis of 2D beam and frame structures by FEM
Program FIN 2D performs structural analysis of 2D frame and beam structures, computation of deformations and internal forces. The program includes automatic generator of simple structures and supports direct communication with other programs of the suite designed for dimensioning of structures and verification of fire situation.
The user can open arbitrary number of windows with the analysed structure so he/she can view the structure in many different ways. For each window the user may set several display modes of the structure - views with default or special features.
Control panel with a tool tree serves to manage individual functions of the program. Created structures or their parts can be copied through the clipboard. For example it is possible to import a structure (or its parts) created in FIN 2D into FIN 3D as a new structure, add it to the currently opened project and perform other common editing functions. FIN 2D offers several tools for entering and modification of input data such as generator of simple structures or commands Rotate, Copy, Undo etc.
Results of the structural analysis are immediately available in dimensioning programs, which then perform verification of the analysed structure according to various designing standards. Such communication works both ways - results and modifications provided by dimensioning programs are considered in FIN 2D when reanalysing the structure.
