Structural Analyses FIN10 / Steel joints
Steel joints - Verification of connections of steel structures according to EC3 standard
The program serves to check joints of steel structures.
It analyses connections of frame and truss structures composed of rolled or welded cross-sections and determines load-bearing capacity of these joints. Members may be connected by frontal plate, cantilever, weld and gusset plate.
Main features:
- database of rolled steel profiles
- material database
- database of steel bolts
- arbitrary number of load cases
The program is able to determine the crucial load case and completely verify the load-bearing capacity of the joint. For a joint rigid in bending the program first computes its stiffness and then classifies it as rigid, semi-rigid or hinge connection.
The program has been developed in collaboration with team of specialists from CTU in Prague. Technical guarantee of the project is Prof. Ing. František Wald, CSc.
