Correction Factor for Finite Depth of Layer on a Rigid Base Rh

The correction factor Rh represents the influence of the incompressible layer below the pile base. Its values are presented in the literature graphically for various pile length to pile diameter ratios (l/d) and ratios of pile length to thickness of compressible layer above the incompressible layer (l/hor h/l). These graphs are implemented in the program in a digital format.
